The Center for Technology & Training (CTT) is a research center housed at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geospatial Engineering at Michigan Technological University.

The CTT works with local road agencies, the Michigan Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration and other transportation-related organizations to build, maintain and manage public infrastructure. We accomplish this through:

  • Workshops, online training and large annual conferences,
  • Software development, distribution and technical support,
  • Civil engineering research and technology transfer.

These goals are distributed among several ongoing projects, including Michigan LTAP, Roadsoft, MERL, and the Bridge Load Rating program. (Read more)
